Tomintoul & Glenlivet Landscape Partnership Waymarkers
In 2021, Sculpture & Design created a series of bespoke waymarkers for the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Landscape Partnership, supporting their wider programme to enhance access to the area's rich natural and cultural heritage.
Crafted from sustainably sourced Douglas Fir, the waymarkers were designed to sit quietly within the landscape while offering durability, clarity and a strong visual identity along the walking routes. Each form was precision-cut and finished in our workshop, balancing clean design with the warm, tactile qualities of natural timber.
These robust markers now help guide visitors through one of Scotland's most striking upland environments, strengthening connections between people and place through thoughtful, well-made design.
