Ruchazie Pantry Gates And Planter Signage

Sculpture & Design was commissioned by Growing21 Ltd to design, manufacture and install bespoke metal gates and signage for Ruchazie Pantry, a community-focused space supporting local growing and food initiatives in the Ruchazie area of Glasgow.

The project centred on improving the visibility, identity and functionality of the pantry entrance while reinforcing its welcoming, community-led ethos. We designed and fabricated robust entrance gates that provide both security and a strong visual presence, helping to clearly define the site while remaining accessible and inviting.

In addition to the gates, we produced and installed signage for the site's planters, supporting clear identification and interpretation of the growing areas. The signage was designed to be durable, practical and visually consistent with the overall site improvements.

All elements were manufactured in our workshop and installed on site by our team. The completed works contribute to a cohesive, well-considered entrance and outdoor environment, enhancing the functionality of Ruchazie Pantry while supporting its role as a valued local community resource.
