Glencairn House, Dumbarton
Sculpture & Design was commissioned by Clark Contracts to deliver the signage package for Glencairn House in Dumbarton, a prominent existing building undergoing refurbishment to support its new use.
Glencairn House is a substantial, established structure within the local area, and the project focused on upgrading the building to modern standards while retaining a clear, practical identity. As part of these improvement works, well-designed signage was required to support wayfinding, accessibility and day-to-day use, while integrating seamlessly with the refreshed architecture.
Working collaboratively with the contractor, we developed signage solutions that balanced clarity, durability and visual consistency. The signage was designed to be robust and legible, suitable for a busy operational environment, and sympathetic to the building's character.
All elements were manufactured in our workshop and installed on site by our team, with careful coordination to align with the wider construction programme. The completed signage contributes to a cohesive, professional finish and supports the successful occupation and use of the refurbished building.
