Alpha Beta Gamma
Alpha Beta Gamma (2016) extends Paul Huxley's long-standing investigation into geometric abstraction, translating his characteristic painted language into sculptural form. Known for exploring relationships between colour, proportion and spatial balance, Huxley has also produced a series of sculptural works that use painted stainless steel to bring his two-dimensional compositional logic into three-dimensional space.
Fabricated in steel, these works emphasise precision, clean lines, and the interplay of intersecting planes. The material's inherent strength allows the forms to cantilever and project into space, echoing the crisp divisions that define Huxley's paintings.
